TulsaTechFest 2008 - "Get Your Geek On"!
The dates are confirmed: Thursday, October 9th and Friday, October 10th.
Year after year - it keeps getting better!
After many late nights, the DNS changes have been entered. The new site should go live in 24-48 hours!
This year it will be a charitable event as well! We are charging "TWO CANS or TWO BUCKS" each day of the event and donating the items to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and Family & Children's Services. (* No one will be turned away, but let's help the broader community!) We will continue are tradition of donating the extra lunch food (we always like to over order) to the local Johns 3:16 Mission.
Session slots are filling up quickly! If you're interested in speaking, you better hurry! Email director at TulsaTechFest.com.
Thanks for making Tulsa TechFest 2007 a smashing success! Over 650+ on Friday and 400+ on Saturday! Over 700+ unique and 1050 total over the two days!
See you next year!
Tulsa TechFest 2.0 is fast approaching!
If you thought Techfest 2006 was awesome, you won't believe what's in store for you this year!! We heard what many of you said after last year and we have made a few changes to make Techfest 2007 even bigger and better. With so much information, training and networking to do, we've expanded this year's event to two full days. We'll have more speakers, more sponsors, more topics, more diverse tracks and more prizes!! And we've even added a party to the agenda to give your brain a break from all the learning you'll be doing. Join Tulsa's hot technology community on Friday, October 19th and Saturday, October 20th for an event guaranteed to have something for everyone. And we're not talking about fluffy PowerPoint presentations. We're talking about digging in with real experts who are bringing real-world knowledge to you. We'll have the latest information on everything from DotNetNuke to Sharepoint, WCF to WPF, Silverlight to CSLA to Enterprise Architecture, Project Management to SQL......you name it, we'll have it. Plus, we've added two full Data Security tracks. You don't want to miss this. Tell your boss you'll get more out of this event than a month of classes or a case of books, because it's true. And all for only $40!! Imagine how much insight and knowledge, not to mention excitement, you'll be bringing back to the office on Monday. Lunch will be provided both days in addition to full access to every presentation and a great Friday night 'Party with Palermo' where Tulsa Techfest meets Tulsa's Oktoberfest. We'll supply the shuttle service, admission passes with reserved seating, and food and drinks coupons. Don't be one of those people who last year said "I can't believe I missed that!!"
New this year will be True Challenge presented by True Digital Security. Throughout the conference you will be challenged with technical brainteasers that test your puzzling skills. The game will be setup like a poker challenge where you solve puzzles to earn playing cards and chips with a real-time leader board. Let the best hand win!
